FIXED: I just found Custom Function 14 "Automatic Power Down" 1 off.

I have canon 580ex as my off camera flash connected to a Pocket Wizard. If I let it sit without firing it shuts off after a minute or so, and when I click the shutter button it doesn't wake it up to fire again. The only way to turn it on again is to hit the pilot button on the flash and then it becomes live again. Can anyone help.

P.S. I've tried custom functions and no help there. am I missing something?

Thanks
Todd

Happens to me too, I just turn it on and off again really quickly.

Off shoe, wireless trigger/receiver, and 580EX II.

Great, thank you. It's as if I posted the thread.

EDIT: For 580EX II it is custom function 1, change to 1.
