your gunna get hit with 12% tax when it arrives here unless they declare the value really low. And any warranty issues you will have to send the camera back to them and they will have to get the warranty stuff done for you. If thats something you can live with then I say go for it. If not, then I would look for something in the US for price savings.

That is why I want to buy from this seller and not digitalrev, they are willing to declare as requested. They said that they offer their own 1 year warranty.

Eh, why not get a canon refurb via adorama? 1399 and canon would touch it if need be.

Oh, furthermore, you'd save 50 on shipping.

adorama took their listing for the refurbished off eBay yesterday.

I think I am okay with it, I meen like these cameras are built to last and wouldnt really break down out of no where. I hope :P I'd also prefer to get a brand new item, adorama comes to $1350 with shipping, then UPS likes to charge high taxes so thats another $325 when it gets in my hand.

Oh and hey from Surrey, B.C. :)

i say go for it then. i dont see any harm in it.... most people are just really insistent on Canon warranty and what not.

Small world I guess.... i live in south surrey!
