Can anyone recommend a specific case for my 580...I have all my lenses in lowepro cases and want that type of protection for my flash.

Nikon D850 and a bunch of stuff, I have learned a lot here when I was shooting Canon, staying to keep learning..."Every time I set up I learn something new".

The LowePro SlipLock cases #10 or #20 should fit the 580EX.

Just a question, why not use the case that came with the flash?

The 580EXII comes with both a soft pouch and a stand (the stand will fit inside the pouch).

I'd say it's a great quality little case; I wouldn't use something else in addition to it.

If you want a case that will fit on a Lowepro or THinktank speedbelt, the one in the box won't. I use a Thinktank case on the speedbelt of my backpack.
