DP Shane Hurlbut speaking before the Collision Conference 2009 details the reasons he believes the HDSLR will be the game changer in digital cinematography.
In this series of clips he details not only the advantages but the pitfalls of the HDSLR and the workarounds he has developed to avoiding them while maximizing the mobility and lightweight of the small footprint platform of an HDSLR.
Later in the series he details the use of and compares using Nikon lenses on the 5D versus Canon glass and the attachment of Leica, Ziess and Panavision lenses to the Canon platform.
All in all a good series of clips and well worth the time spent watching.
