From the public areas, given the direction they flew, it was nearly un-shootable.

There's someone on FB who must have been on the Stennis and they were able to get the "arrow" shape of the lead element to fit the frame pretty well.

Personally, I just watched and cheered...! :D

Thanks guys. This was actually my first airshow. I'm pretty happy with results. Nothing like what Jay got, but enough for me.

Found out I'll be staying in the area till mid April so looks like I'll be renting the 100-400L again for the El Centro show with the Blue Angels season opener on my Birthday.
