Regarding the move from the 7d, I just recently got the 5DII after shooting the 7D for a year. Here it us in a nutshell... The IQ and high ISO performance of the 5DII are hands down better than the 7D, but if you're shooting moving subjects outdoors, the 7D's AF system is significantly better.

I was also surprised at how much full frame impacted the field of view on the wide end. I've only ever shot crop bodies and had no idea 24mm was THAT wide in a full frame.
