I had to edit in iphoto because my lightroom 3 trial expired but I have the full version on the way!
I just wanted to see if im improving at all, last posting was bad lol.

tamron 28-75 2.8 on 5dmkII. single strobe, b800 camera left.

** Well I already picked something out I hadnt seen... only one eye is in focus. Grr.

First thing I noticed is that his neck is much whiter than his face. Necks are usually a little darker being in facial shadow or the same tone. Your main light was probably too low. I'd try to fix that in pp. Otherwise nice portrait.

I think it would look better if it was portrait. Crop some of the white space, (unless you plan to put words over there). Like it was mention, neck is brighter then the face. I'm not crazy about the hat being cropped off. I do like it in B&W, nice touch.
