I found the Photography Institute online and from what I've read, it looks like a great program. I am looking for a well-rounded program that covers the basics all the way to starting up a career. I like to research something like this before jumping in. I'm not interested in the full school university approach. I've already got a BS in molecular biology and chemistry, and an MBA in business and marketing. I'm "retired" from "Corporate America" and I have always loved photography, hence this path I'm carving. The Photography Institute is priced reasonably and it's an "at your own pace" program (up to one year). This is perfect for my situation. Our family is expecting its first child in Oct and I want to have a flexible option for this part-time career.

I am looking for any feedback from anyone who has completed this program and who is currently in this program. I've read a few other reviews and just wanted to get as many opinions as I can before I commit!

Thank you!

Much of photo education today is not suited for real jobs - esp the online stuff.
Some are being sued for fraud.
Buyer Beware - but if you are retired rich and got time on your hands ...
or better yet travel vacation take photos and read a book.

I am mainly looking for specific feedback on this particular online program. I like it's structure and if it is legit, I'll proceed. If I am able to formulate a career too, that's a bonus! I know that part will fall into my own perseverance. Not relying on the program for that part.

Thanks :)

Looks like a good program and sounds like it might work for you, given your criteria and interests. Like any educational program, be it on-line or classroom, you get out of it what you put into it. Let us know what you decide and how it goes. Good luck to you.

Best, Bruce
