Great pics. I was there, although I did get to fly down in a 207 which was great, had I driven myself I would have been staked out and close. We got to the ferry landing on Coronado just after the show started. No way to walk to NAS from there in time to get most of the show. The island was crowded! The other pilots I flew with are not wise about getting to air shows but they aren't avid aero photogs either. So from near the ferry landing and the 150-500 I did get some good shots but not like those posted here. We were more than far from airshow center. Was a great celebration of Naval Aviation though.

Thanks guys. I had a great seat for it. I'm just glad I was able to get there, get the seat, and have a long lens rented. I apparently snagged the last 100-400L calumet had in SD
