Hi everyone! I'm a newcomer here. I've been doing learning photography for about 8 months now and professional video for 2 years. I'm up to the point where I'm pretty good on the basics but a lot of the advanced stuff is still confusing me. I would appreciate your valuable input!

#1 is a nice scene but the attempt at hdr isnt all that great and the pretty heavy chromatic aberrations are killing it for me personally. You should also try and straighten it.

#2 I like a lot, fantastic mood and the composition works for me. Only thing i'd do is tone down the blue a little bit but thats just me nitpicking.

#3 Its a picture of a car, with snow on it... err, yeah! Not a lot to say about it really, doesnt do a whole lot for me.

1. I'm sorry but why HDR? The great scenery speaks for itself.
2. Image is really good!
3. Awesome subject but surrounding is everyday stuff. i think it's a little to underexposed.

#1 Nice comp, Too Soft, and needs straightening
#2 I like it but need to warm up a tad
#3 Cool truck but it looks to be hanging from the swing set and what is that hanging on the front bumper?

To each his own though...

Canon 60D/20D and a few lenses.

1. Nice landscape, but it's too dark. It looks HDR and if it is, it's a poor HDR. Too dark overall for a normal photo or HDR photo. Snow is suppose to be white, not gray.
2. I like it. Love the mood it gives. Good composition.
3. Not much to say. I know the truck is the subject, but there is too much clutter/buildings around the truck, so it simply looks like a snapshot. Not much thought was given.

AGree with most.the basic thing in #1 is the level..;) Looks like a topaz or glamor glow was added, its blurry.

#2, I would crop the left up to the last post in the water out, don't need those lights. Its serene and lovely.

#3.I love old trucks, but not with swingsets coming out of the top:)

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.
