Hello all. I don't post much and was hoping to possibly get some feedback and assistance on this.
I was working management for an event this weekend, and brought my camera with as it was quite unusual (fashion models and orchestra working together). I was using the 30D, Sigma 15-30mm, and nifty fifty. No flash, and ISO 640, so 99% of the shots were perfectly workable and I only ended up deleting a few from the night.
One of the people working with the models told me at the end of the night that he ran an online magazine and would like some of my photos to show for the event. We swapped information, and I sent him a .zip of watermarked photos. We'll be talking tomorrow regarding price.
He said that he wanted medium-res (720x900), and I'm really not sure how to price this. I'm early on in the process of setting up a website and getting some prices laid out, and am a bit clueless as to where to go.
This almighty convenient price calculator (http://www.stockphotopricecalculator.com/Calculator.asp
) puts it down between $111 and $170, but I've heard some pretty positive and negative stuff about it, so I'd rather hear actual opinions. Personally, I'd say there are about 5 or 6 I would consider real keepers from the set, and one that I may throw into the portfolio after some heavier editing.
