Hi POTN.

I have someone that's opening a modeling agency and keeps telling everyone
her agency license wont be available before April. This was something started back in Dec. 2010 and I can't find any info. on agency licensing requirements or why it would supposedly take so long.
I can't ask this person why because they wouldn't tell me and I don't want to create a problem by question them on it.
It's odd that any type of business/agency license would take more than a week to obtain ??? Thanks.

The Cali Dept of Industrial Relations that handles licensing estimates 90 days to get the license here:

Not unusual.
