Thanks for posting these Jay. A friend of mine that lives in San Diego was telling me about this event yesterday. Since I missed it, I've been waiting to see your images...much appreciated.

Thanks Gene...

I'm still working on an official gallery on the website. Probably launch it later tonight or tomorrow. Trying to wade through a lot of frames but with enough balance to make it worth looking at.

Stay Tuned... :)

Unfortunately, we were outrun by the big guy, our main target was the Privateer.

If the Privateer was Plan B, what was Plan A?

The Privateer was plan A, which would be joined by the Harpoon in formation.

Take your time, Jay. Quality, not quantity or speed. ;)

I got some of the older stuff but the earliest participants declined to dip a wing or "cut the corner" much so they were quite high, quite a ways out and quite difficult to capture.

The real crying shame: The biggest formation the Leap Frogs jumped was right before the FJ-4 Fury was due past so he had to stay really high. :( Prettiest (and maybe the rarest) plane of the day and really nothing worth posting from it's pass.

Yeah, there was another plane that flew during their jump as well. I managed to get shots of both, but they weren't that great. I have a decent shot, but it's not that sharp and heavily cropped. The brits behind me were super pissed when it came by and they didn't get shots.
