Anyone know what a "jpg.dap" file is?

The questions in the title, and I've done a search, plus a google search but don't trust the options that are coming up.

Reason I need to know is that I'm into "CGI textures" but when downloading a background it comes up as a "jpg.dap" file which can't (I think) be opened in The GIMP...

....and that equals a pain in the bum!

Any help appreciated.

Cheers,

Simon

May seem a silly question but have you tried just removing the .dap from the file and see if its opens then. Not heard of jpg.dap files before.

Did you use download accelerator plus at some point? These accelerators can create partial files that will stick around if terminated abnormally. Sounds like this could be what caused your file to come about.

You're a star!!!!
I just re-downloaded using Orbit, and the texture was intact.
Thanks so much.
