I was able to get the chance to shoot what I think was the perfect day for racing. Sun was perfect, snow was awesome, and the action was great. Just a perfect day. Thanks for looking!

Love #2 a lot. How are you making the sales?

Thanks. I set up a smugmug Pro account and I have made up business cards to hand out at races and other events. People can go to my site and buy what ever they want. Printing and shipping is all handled by BayPhoto through smugmug. It works quite well and is super easy.

Thanks. I overlooked that because I thought it was protected by default.

One thing that really bugs me in the photos though, is that stupid pink ribbon in the background. CROP! ;)

These are great, my only nit to pic is exposure.

Let me rephrase that, "output exposure".

The snow looks gray, not white.

FWIW, snow is not always white. It's only white right after it falls. If this is man made snow, or dirty snow then it very well may have been gray. Often, it's commented that "the snow looks blue" and that's because the snow DID look blue!

What I was going for there was to have the snow not all blown out and to see the detail of the course. For me that is quite an important part of the photo. In my opinion, blown out snow does not look good.
