First time I really tried Portraits shots. Spent a few days in Vegas and snapped a few pics of my girl.

C&C would be greatly appreciated.

I'm liking the last two, #4 & 5. Equalized lighting :)

1,4,3,5 all work for me with a couple of suggestions.
On #1 bring the crop in closer to the top of the head, maybe even an inch or so into the head.
On #4 position her more left off center and leave less empty space above the head.
On #3 straighten the horizon.
On #5 less space above the head would work better as well.
All in all though they are good pics with good exposure and quite sharp. Also having a pretty girl included makes any photo better.

My sister, the professional baker and cake decorator once told me that my camera takes great pics. My reply was that I thought her oven baked great cakes.

Ah... never really looked at portraits but it seems like you don't want that much space above the head. How do you straighten the horizon? Is this a auto thing in PS?

Thanks for the comments guys, pics was taken with Canon's 50mm 1.8. What's ironic about 4 and 5 is the back drop is the bus stop. I snapped a pic for fun and thought the background complemented the pic well, so i snapped a few more. First time street photographing and i kinda like using what the environment has to offer.

I normally straighten the horizon in Photoshop manually. And while the "nifty-fifty" gets quite a few knocks by some people for it's build quality, photo's like these prove it's capable of capturing high quality images.

Looks great. I love shots 4 & 5. Background wall has a interesting texture. Plus you cant go wrong when shottting a pretty girl like yours ;)
