Photography Rates in NYC

Just curious, what's the average rate for photography in NYC?
More specifically, Portraits, Models and Musicians...

That depends on who is being shot... The small time studio 2 blocks away will shoot anyone for 1 hour session for 250, with prints. People I work with will charge 2500-5000 for ten hours on location with clients such as Eeste Lauder, Ebony magazine,..etc, for example.

Who knows. There's too many factors to consider. A co-worker of mine paid $800 for baby photos. I think that included a handful of prints, maybe 2 hours of shooting time at Central park, and a few JPEG's on a CD.
