I took the advice from my last post about some things I could improve on. I hope these turned out better. As always, C&C welcomed.

I think you did a great job. The one CC I will mention is the lens distortion in the first shot with the purple hat. The angle with the pom poms makes the baby look teeny teeny and the hat look huge!

I see what you mean. What can I do to remedy that.

These really look great. I would be very happy if this was my daughter and you presented me with these pictures. I agree with the CC about the hat...I also think it would have been better to have the pompoms in focus, but if they were moved, then maybe that would just happen anyway.

Not sure you can do anything in post about it now because it's mainly caused by lens distortion from the angle and distantce from the subject. It's something you have to remember for next time. What I would do [If you really want to include it in the proofs] is a recrop in landscape maybe an inch or two below the arm.

You have a similar issues in #6 with the pink fuzzy blanket although not as bad and distracting. It's almost fisheye-ish.

Maybe if I had a 50mm it wouldn't do this...or would it

Awesome job. It may be my iPad, but is #7 a little on the cool side?

Here's an unedited shot of my setup. I use background stands to support the vinyl. Then all I do is clamp the baseboard or in this case, I use crown molding to the vertical vinyl.

Thanks for the pullback shot. The thought never crossed my mind to use flooring tiles. Great idea.

So the backdrop and the flooring are actually two separate backdrops? interesting.
