With pole? or without pole? I think I prefer the original perspective, although each has it's merits.

I like this version better myself... another possibility in my head is at a little lower and looking up and to camera left of this shot. so it's kind of following the glideslope along the approach lights.

tried to explain how i see it in my head... sometimes it doesn't work so well. lol

i can try to re-create it here on a day it's not so garbage outside.

I think this is a great shot. I think that the landing lights, especially the first one, really gives the image a sense of location. That first post really tells you that the aircraft is actually coming into land on that runway.
