I took this one last month on the Des Moines River, in Ottumwa, Iowa.
Taken with a Canon 50D and Canon 100-400mm "L" lens.
It was a beautiful, clear day.

I just did the border and text here for fun, because I feel a sense of freedom every time I look at this picture. I have a nicely matted & framed copy of it in my computer room. Ron...... Thanks everyone. I really appreciate any comments & criticisms. That's how you learn and get better. This was my first time working with eagles, and I really enjoyed it. It won't be my last! This example more closely resembles how it looks on my wall, except for a very nice wooden frame that it's in. The actual mat for it is brown suede. I wish I could fly among them. They look so elegant and regal! Ron......
