I'm guessing that the email you received was this one:

which is sent out by an automated system. The 10 days quoted is an average based upon usual expectations.
If your card was charged, then the item would already have been in the hands of the shipper; there isn't any way at all that we would have been able to get around this. If it appeared that it hadn't actually been shipped, the only possible explanation would be that it was on the way to the UPS hub for scanning (from which point tracking info is available) or that it was somehow missed for scanning at the hub.
Nevertheless, I regret your disappointment with our service, and particularly that judging from your feedback that we weren't able to make this right for you.
Even though I was not as respectful (to say the least) as I should have been I was treated with respect and they went out of there way to fix what was my problem, not theirs. Not often you get that kind of service.
