How do you put up a welcome screen on your FB page. I go to some and you have to like the page before you can get into it. They have a welcome screen telling them to like the page, etc etc. Can someone tell me how to do this??

First, I could be wrong, but I think you can only add a fbml welcome page to a biz page. Either way, try this.

Also, as Mike sez, knowledge of html is very helpful. I designed a welcome page in dreamweaver and fb didn't like the code. I had to use notepad to strip out much of it and reduced it to very basic code.

Yep, only applies to 'Fan' pages, not personal pages.

go to mine...see my sig... at the bottom of my welcome page there's a link to where i made mine, i love mine! and it require no knowledge of FBLM, HTML, or CSS!

Yea,
Im hoping to get 25 soon so that I can start to customize mine.

Here is a question, does anyone know how secure facebook apps are, to add stuff to a fan page under the "info/photos/events" area?

I think I found a couple apps that I want to add, but it is asking to access my personal info for some reason.

The first one is a google voice app that will let people call me for free using the app. its not by google, you would think google would make one, they made a gadget for blogs to do this.

The 2nd is a "contact me" app. theres no message me feature on my page and not everyone actually reads to find info they need. So I want to make it easier for them.
