Looking for ideas on different posing with the a Senior in her volleyball uniform & ball....looked all over this forum with not much luck. Want to do something different besides the traditional canned poses she'd do on a T&I shoot.

One idea--Get a tall ladder, go to the gym and shoot down on the athlete with the school logo on the floor for a background.

The Senior is traveling a couple hours to my studio, so shooting in her gym is out. My studio floor actually looks like a gym floor, high gloss, etc....and will be doing all indoor today. Thanks for the idea!

Depending on uniform colors
White gray or black paper, gel for color tint if needed.

I would go to the gym and shoot some images of the gym and then photoshop her into it. Shooting her with a strobe back right and left through a soft box to show definition, then use a beauty dish overhead. That will get a very dramatic look. I would just have her pose with the ball under her arm and maybe a few more positions

Joel Grimes has mastered this technique. Checkout his blog.
