I took this shot at the furthest point of the tour--the actual waterfall. All I had with me that day was the ol' T2i + 18-55 IS

I like it, except for the bluish cast (most obvious in the water). Try warming it a bit to see if you like it better. I may be all wet.

I was actually going for the actual color at the time. They used multiple filtered lights, using the full spectrum of colors, with a dedicated light on the water. I'll try that edit later, since I was planning on turning it into a print--I'm a sucker for waterfall pictures :D

Does it really look distracting?

Still really cool

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Early into the tour, they had a cave room with multiple 40"+ LCDs hanging from the walls to assist with an intro. It was a VERY easy walk.

I followed this up with a trip to the Mammoth Caves, and it was much more "rugged" and no-frills. No flashing, color changing lights.

lol, we went there a couple years back after visitingRickwood caverns (external link)in Alabama on our way from Tallahassee to Cincinatti, and it was two totally different tours.

We were the only one on the Rickwood tour and felt like we could do whatever we wanted, lol.

great place to stop if you are headed up that way on I-65.

sorry to hijack
