Just a picture of a couple friends watching the sun set in Ensenada, Mexico. Turned it into an HDR to get more detail in the foreground

What do you think? Overdone?

There is too much processing for my taste. The sky looks okay, albeit a bit yellow in the sun. There is a bluish cast on the sand which makes it look very artifical too me.

The composition and scenry look good. Please post the non-HDR shot to comapre to the HDR one.

thanks for your opinion, here is the non-hdr version, keep in mind this was done with 3 shots, -2EV to +2EV... Then I erased my friends from 2 layers because they would have been blurry otherwise!

I'm going to have to be the odd one out here. I really like the HDR one.

It is over-processed.

Check out the:
The greenish noise at the left end of the frame
The halo effect around the two people
The exposure on the sun
The color artifacts on the sand

Tone it down a bit, and try to get rid of the vignette.

High school student on a budget...
No more camera..
