I would advocate shooting RAW from the start. It is so easy in DPP to batch convert all the RAW images to jpeg using the camera settings. This will get you copies of the in camera jpegs. But in addition, you will have the raw files as well. Even if you do not plan to post process raw files now, you may in the future and this will allow you the raw material to go back to the original image and modify as you see fit.
