Hi,

Wondering if anyone has used Mask Pro 4 and what the verdict is on it?

Worth the money and easy to use or not really....

Cheers
Phil

I downloaded the free trial of MaskPro 4 (I think it was good for a month) and I'm glad I did because I really didn't like it, it felt cumbersome and time-consuming. I'll try the Topaz product next, I have a couple of their products and like them a lot.

MaskPro is good for certain pictures, especially ones with a single color background and complex foreground, like tree branches/leaves. It's a color-based masking tool.

Topaz Remask is good for photos with good borders, and backgrounds with a non-uniforum colored-background. The latest Remask has an option to mask in/out by a single color, but I haven't tried that feature yet so I can't say how it compares to MaskPro.

Sometimes I find using Photoshop's Quick Selection Tool and then manually brushing in/out using the Quick Mask Mode the easiest thing to do.
