Is there a list of the software up dates for lenses out there ?
I have read , if a lenses comes in -the 1st thing they do is update software , then check . If off , someone opens and fixes .

Right off I do not remember any Canon lens updates. Bodies, yes. Google: Canon USA lenses.

Thanks , I have read about different lenses having problems and problems addressed in software .
This is a hobby for me so , I miss things [I don't read everything - just what interests me]
I don't remember the brands , just when lens came out - this or that was fixed in software .

Yes, I see those updates at DPReview often but they are not Canon I believe.

I don't know , but I have a bunch of lenses - will 3 anyway I would upgrade - the 10-22 , 17-55 maybe the 28-135 or 35-350 .
I don't know but was hoping it is just mount , lens push upgrade and it's done .

When you have the software that came with say the T2i, you launch the EOS Utility and there is a peripheral illumination correction (vignetting) sp, you can download into your camera for your lenses.
I can't answer any questions about other cameras abilities.
Hope that helps.

Thanks , I read that in manual on 7D .
I was hoping to update the lenses - like better AF on both the XTI and 7D .
My 10-22 is great on the XTI and kind of bad at 100 % on the 7D .
Guess it goes on list for camera store - yes , I make a list and I will also let anyone in front of me , you never know when someone else will ask a question you did not know you had .
