Lee gnd filters

Hi everyone,

I now have the Lee Filter Holder and the 77mm wide angle adapter; Cokin Z Pro Holder and 77mm adapter sold on P.O.T.N. My Cokin filters were my first gnd's and they are being replaced. I really want to get some Lee gnd's and I don't want to place multiple order's. What company in the U.S.A. would you order from; B&H, Adorama, 2Filter, etc? What's my best bet?

Just pick one and get on their backorder list. That's pretty much how you get Lee products anywhere in the world.

I've always ordered direct from lee they do not sell them in my area never had any problems

I recently picked up a Lee .6 soft and .9 hard gnd from B&H. I was going to pick them up at Adorama but they're all out. Seems that B&H has few left so hurry!

Thanks everyone. I had some e-mail notifications listed with B&H; however, by the time I saw the e-mails they were already out of stock. Looks like it's time to place an order and wait. Seems like B&H does not allow a purchase of an item on backorder. I will wait a day or two to see if they get any I am looking for in and if not I will probably place an order with 2Filter.

Email them to check stock before placing an order... many of the Lee GNDs have been back-ordered for months.

Allen's Camera Shop has some Lee stuff in stock. Just ordered a couple Lee GND's,a foundation kit,and an adapter. They were out of 77mm WA adapters. B&H has them (or did) yesterday. I think Allen's only had 1 or 2 foundation kits left. Good luck !

Thanks everyone. When I saw a post that B & H had some 77 wa adapter rings in I figured maybe they also received some filters and I was able to order a .9 soft even though I would of liked a .9 hard so maybe I will just watch for a .6 hard and give these a go for now.

Consider yourself lucky... I've been waiting for that 0.9 Soft for about six months and was able to snag one from B&H as well before they went out of stock (again).

I spoke with 2Filter today and they said that Lee has recently stepped up production and they are expecting larger shipments in the coming weeks. You might want to check with them, I know they had the 0.6 Hard in stock in early January.

I was amazed...i ordered one of Amazon Japan and had my 77mm ring in about 4 days....they even had to order it and still came it quite quickly...

guess the Lee stuff isn't so popular here (actually its sold by Kenko/Tokina) as almost no where keeps the stuff in stock...(that and they don't carry some of the products...like the 4x4 CPL)

well that and I have to pay more (about $80/ring)

They are actually out of foundation kits!

I just ordered the last one they had and they are shipping it up to Canada! I am so excited. There price was 70 some odd bucks. Locally there are a couple shops that have them but they are $160!

Hey everyone; enjoy your new holders and filters. I will be watching the gnd thread for your latest shots using these!

Good to see you got one Vlad. Mine arrived in 2 days,but it only had to cross state lines. The folks at Allen's have been very helpful. I'm now awaiting 2 filters and another adapter. I'm excited to give these a try.
