I use the 7D for reach and the 5Dc for formals and portraits. I am however digging the 7D more and more due to its forcusing but have not found a walkaround lens that I like and not willing to spend 1K for the 17-55 2.8. I will not trade my 5Dc unless the new FF body has a new focusing system at least on par with the 7D

For me I don't shoot things far away and I am more into macro and landscape so its always been FF for me. Even if I shoot waves/surfing my FF and a 70-200mm f/2.8 or 300mm f/4.0 is more then enough reach for me. I don't think I would ever go to a cropped camera body. FF is for landscape, macro, portrait, and architecture, crop is for sports and wildlife. That's what I do with my camera. X-Pro1 + 18-55 f/2.8-4 OIS + 55-200 f/3.8-4.5 OIS
