Here are two more from the same flight, it amazes me how close they fly to themselves, this is actually the spotters head, the pilot is right next to him.

For those that have never seen a radio controlled helicopter fly here is a great video. Pilot is Bobby Watts flying to music.

Camera guy, given the erratic trajectory of the helicopter, does a good job keeping it in frame.

I got Phoenix Ver3 and using it with a DX6i, I took the Blade SR up and flipped it into inverted. It was so easy to flip it and to hold it there, I can't believe it's going to be so easy with the real thing.

the sim doesnt teach you everything. great for getting the basic 3d down. as a fixed wing flyer my instincts on planes is to the point I dont think about what Im doing it just happens. im saving lots of money on helis by flying the sim. now.. coming soon horizon hobby will have a 3d micro heli for 180 buck,, its on the list for sure.

Keeping it in frame can be VERY difficult, even at 8 FPS.
IT was there a fraction of a second ago.
