This isn't exactly what I wanted to do this weekend, but I kinda-sorta had to.

Saturday morning I pulled out the studio kit (2-strobe Dynalite setup w/modifiers) and a couple of larger sheets of plexi to set up for Kiddie Art Photography! Yay!

My kids, now in 2nd and 3rd grade, have been doing the usual art stuff in school since pre-K and, not as usual, my wife has saved almost all of it.

So we have 4 large boxes full of this stuff sitting around waiting to catch fire. A 5 foot tall stack of "art." (I didn't know you could pile art that high... :o)

I've threatened/promised to take pictures of it all so we could get rid of most of it. In two days of off-and-on effort I got through almost 3 of 4 boxes. Nearly 700 shots of this:

My brain hurts.

Fortunately for me, it only hurts in a tiny little place... :p

And I've got to set up to do it again someday soon to finish the job. ???

Thanks for reading my post. Writing it was surprisingly cathartic.

I see, your wife wanted you to "document" the creative artwork of the kids.....:)
