I am trying to fix the hair follicles from shaved armpits of models.

How do I remove the hair stubbles and replace it with smooth skin? I have Photoshop CS5 Extended essential.

If it were me, I would use the Healing Brush (J) and sample some skin of the same shade and smooth the area out.

First post here, looking forward to getting to know you all!

As Chase has said, clone tool/healing brush or patch tool would be the easiest. Post some images up and we will show you.

Quick example using the Patch tool in CS5:

I know it's a couple of days late, but I use a paintbrush set of Lighten with a low opacity and flow and paint a skin toned color sampled from the same area. It's a little faster than cloning, and doesn't destroy the shadows as much.

I would have made sure they shaved before even setting up the session. Believe it or not that is one of the first things I check for before shooting.

Or try to avoid armpit shots. If I get a real visible arm pit, I'm usually pretty quick to throw out the photo. If it somehow merited keeping, I guess the clone tool or healing brush would do the trick.
