2nd attempt at baby pictures

C/C are welcome. This is my 2nd attempt at baby photos. Both times with the same baby.

I really like the black and white photos! Good composition, quite sharp, and just great photos.

Photo number 1 and 5 I would say get rid of the stuffed animal as it's distracting and takes away from the baby. I would also say to invest in a neutral colored blanket (cream, oatmeal, etc) as the purple and pink blanket also takes away from the shots and simply doesn't match the colors the baby is wearing. The pink and purple blanket also makes the photos look more like snapshots than pro quality photos. Hope this helps a little bit and keep practicing!

Helps a lot. Thanks Kari. I was using anything I could find in the kid's room. I agree with you, the blanket doesn't match. That's why i turned some black and white and then i used some split toning on the other ones. The original colors really didn't work. Off to find a cream colored blanket.
