Hellooo!

Travelled to Ipswich to photograph Lilies of the Land - a play about the Women's Land Army during WWII - in a tech rehearsal before the first part of its UK tour following a successful run on the Wet End. These are also the first set of photographs taken with my new 5DII and 24-70 ... I was very pleased with how it went - hope you agree and enjoy! Any and all forms of C are much appreciated ...

Thank you! I wasn't sure about posting #4 so it's nice to know that one does work ...

It was a real novelty (and completely different) working in a real theatre with a proper stage after years working in (brilliantly) converted church halls at the Fringe ...

Nice series and toning, but I think your sharpening for web could be better.

I had to re-do these to the ones you see now because initially my new web action (new laptop, new software as well as new camera) was over-sharpening them ... do you think these need more though?

I think they could use a smaller radius. Looks like a bit too much local contrast instead of sharpening. Or something like that, not sure how to describe it: They look a bit harsh, yet not too sharp.

Glad you said smaller radius - I went and changed my action again based on your comment and went with a smaller radius, I think it has helped things look sharper ...
