I'm trying to come up with my own design, i'm not much into cad and CS5 but curious how to have a watermark design with out having the template area attached to the design. Hope I described that well enough. Say for example i have a simple profile of a shark. How do i just import that shark into Lightroom without having the background template the design lays on. Any thoughts?

You'll need to bring it up in a photoshop(that can do layers. The free GIMP download would work)
And cut out the shark image and save as a .png file. Upload in LR and there shouldn't be the white background.
Hope that helped. (:

Hey no problem!
And some quick info(just incase) if your *logo* is say...all black, use the color selective tool in GIMP...WAY easier than actually cropping it out. haha. (I used GIMP for about a year and a half before cs5..so I got pretty good at it. haha)

Yeah, I would love to have CS5 but can't justify the cost. GIMP seems to be usable for now.

Yeah it really is. But I forewarn you...when you do switch to cs5 its a BIG jump. Mainly because just about everything is different in both programs(Its taken me a while to get used to it. haha)

If you have any questions about GIMP feel free to send me a PM!
