I have been renovating my basement, and am pretty close to installing some lighting.

I was wondering if there are some basic rules that you should stick to for installing recessed ceiling lights?

For example should they be installed in the ceiling behind your monitors or behind you back on the other wall.

I have a basement window where the sun hits my monitor so a pleated blind was installed as I can't move my systems

Perhaps there is a web site showing the best way to set up lighting in your photography office work space?
