nice collection and great pics... i know it is a small detail but propping them up without using something stuck through the trigger guard makes all the difference in the world...

It certainly makes for a much cleaner overall image. :D

Great photos. It's hard to get photos like that with black backgrounds.

What softboxes and/or lighting gear are you using?

Also, Greetings from another South-Texas POTN member!

Kimbers are the most handsome pistols out there. Great stuff, I wish I had one! (instead of being stuck with some Glock rubbish ;))

Gorgeous guns, great shots!

@rishu - don't knock your Glock - they're ugly but I've never had one fail to go bang. My $1200 1911 .45 has been nothing but trouble and while I think it's sorted out now, I don't feel so good carrying it after it's failed me several times at practice. Much respect for the 1911 history but many have the same story as me...

I know squat about PP. Old: Canon 10-22, 18-55, 24L, 50 1.4, 50L, 85 1.8, 24-105L, 70-200 2.8L nonIS, Sigma 30 1.4, Tamron 18-200 lenses. t2i, 7D, Xsi bodies. New: D700, 14-24, 50G, 105 VR Macro, 70-300 VR, SB700

Haha, yeah, they're ugly as sin, but they sure keep chugging along. I've read an article that a guy put his G17 to a series of torture tests (dropping it from a plane, burying it, dunking in acid, etc.), after some regular cleaning, the gun keeps firing. :D

My next pistol (after I get all my photog gears satisfied LOL) will be a USP Compact Tactical.

If you don't mind me asking you, are those the factory grips on the first pistol, the Super Carry Ultra II? I've been trying to find those exact grips, but I can't find them for sale anywhere. If they are aftermarket can you tell me the name of them and where I can purchase them?

You can get them in the Kimber store online...less that $100.
