I thought it was for our BEST. I know I post a lot but these are definitely not ALL my candids.
Aargh, I wasn't directing it at you. Sorry if you thought so. I have lots of candids as well and was just asking for future reference.

I started with my 70-200L and quickly moved to my nifty fifty, and then to my 20mm. I thought I had some better shots, but I need to get a better lens for this sort of shooting. Any suggestions? Oh...here's the one decent shot (not my best work by far though). Certified Professional Photographer (CPP)

I also use the 24-70L on the street. This is a terrific lens. Maybe I will try some local in town (DC is an hour and a half drive) with my 70-200 L to see how that works. When I first started walking around it just seemed like way too telephoto...but I'm new to this too so, I wasn't sure what I would need. Certified Professional Photographer (CPP)

Feb 21, 2012 22:05 | #2786 when I use the 135L or my 200L I need to look far ahead to anticipate shots. I have a completely different perspective when walking around with a big lens. http://phlotography.smugmug.com/Nelson-Malave

I find 50 is too long as it is but then again, I tend to shoot a fair bit underground where there isn't as much space.

I'm picking up one of the new Olympus OM-D's with a Panny 20/1.7 which is effectively a 40mm. Perfect size for street imo. I just wish they'd release it already. And see...I was thinking a 17-40 would have been perfect for me today. I guess it depends on how/where you shoot to determine what lens you need. Certified Professional Photographer (CPP)

Most of Tokyo is cramped, so the 24-70 is awesome. But, every now and again you go and there are open streets.... big ones. The 24-70 is still good here but you're going to miss stuff.
