Visually your work reminds me a little of Bruce Davidsons subway work in the fact it always seem people are emerging from the darkness and I think for your images this is a strong tool.
The hands on the woman crossing the street in the snow the man coming out of the shadows for a smoke and the greens popping off a monochromatic background.
I can tell your images without looking at who shot them and thats about the biggest compliment I can give. Keep up the good and inspiring work.
thank you sir, I'm happy someone connects to the work at a deeper level. I'm working hard everyday to push myself, so I do appreciate your feedback
I love Davidson, but must admit I've only got to know his subway work later, when I was already working with that rather dark style, and I was a bit - 'damn, he did it better then me, and so long ago'. but then I thought, if it comes naturally to me, I need to push it until something new is born. I know there are many years of hard work ahead, but hey, its the journey
thanks again Allen, and keep up your clean compositions coming here, its always a pleasure
