why does my CS5 missing all layers dialog box ?
once can select from this drop down dialog box, current layer or all layers.

It is suppose to be located besides protect color. I can't seem to turn it on in CS5.

is this feature part of old CS3 ?

Check under Edit > Menus > Application menus and make sure it's turned on.

application menus are turn on in my CS5. I have PC version CS5. I see the following white boxes:

actual pixels, fill screen, fit screen. print size. The right side is all grey without any dialog box. I have latest patches for CS5. There is no dialog box at all.

If I hit F7 button, the right hand side vertical layer info disappear. The dialog box on top of the screen doesn't show up.

Do I have a deficient CS5 ?

I'm not sure what you mean by a "dialog box." Earlier you referred to a "drop down dialog box." Do you mean menu?

Can you post a screen shot of whatever the thing is (menu, panel, toolbar, dialog box, whatever) where you're seeing this problem?
