Okay, bought a new camera yesterday. Well new to me, but used with about 4500 clicks on it. Canon 5D Mark II.
Met with the guy, he had 2 of them and this one had less clicks, so I chose it. Played around with it, took some pictures, everything seemed to work out great. Well after I left with him I was playing with the camera without a lens attached and looked through the viewfinder and saw some black dust spots. When a lens is attached, these arent visable so I never noticed it at first. Iv taken some pictures and dont notice it in the pictures either.
so yesterday at the local camera shop I asked them about it and he told me where it was, but went over my head and I didnt really understand. Just know he said it wasnt the sensor. Was up in a spot where they arent allowed to clean, would have to go into Canon to repair and would take 4-6 weeks. he mentioned something like its caused by using the wrong lens on the camera or jamming a lens in too hard... Im not sure this is true as the guy I caught it from seems very trustworthy and very professional.
any ideas about this? is it something i should worry about and send in and get cleaned? or just forget it because it doesnt effect pictures?
