Chuckwalla Raceway, VARA event

Not many places to take pics from, well, there was really ONE spot. haha. There isn't any way to walk around the track unless you are with the track photog group I guess.

Any post processing on theses photos or SOOC? Looks great! What lens are you using?

I'd like to go there one day. I live in the palm springs area. I think its about an hour drive.

There is some post, but not too much, just used NIC from Lightroom for contrast.

The film one is just adjusted for contrast also.

The only problem with being a spectator at the track is you can't walk around the track. You can only walk back and forth along the front/pit straight.

That Corvette is pretty quick, seen it at a few events.

Love the first flame shot, #2 would be better imho if you crop away the bit of sky at the top.
