Yeah, the 20 and 25% coupon codes no longer work so it ain't such a good deal anymore.

Any other 'eggs' lurking out there?

Thanks!/ScottGee1

I just tried it and the 25% worked (?H0BXPZLLH4SVQ). Shipped, with tax was $132.99 (with the $20 off as well).

Sicily1918, thanks for that! I just tried again and this time it worked. I think I omitted the "?" the first time thinking it was just noise and not part of the code.

Mea culpa/ScottGee1

FYI, I got my grip today, just two business days after I ordered. OMG !! Its like a completely different camera. First thing my wife said after I put it on was, "Wow, you look like a professional".

Do you need to have an extra battery in order for this to work??

nope, just took the second battery out of mine and it worked just fine. However, I can't see why you wouldn't want 2 batteries. You can buy them for $12 at www.sterlingtek.com (external link). I've got 4 of them. They work great.

Im just about to make the plunge into slr, so im trying to figure these things out. what I was trying to get at was if it came with another battery pack so I would have 2.

use the 20$ off and the 25% OFF TO GET IT TO $121

Thanks

it does not come with another battery pack. You will need to purchase an additional battery for it.

FWIW. mine have been perfect, no issues. Never have run out of battery with it either.

I also received my grip today. DHL said it wasn't going to get here until the 29th.... That's three for three with my Dell purchases. The main reason I wanted the grip was for the vertical shutter release. The fact that it makes my camera look cooler is just an added bonus.
