Use the "create new folder" on their CF cards to organize your photos in camera ?

No. I would find switching between folders too time consuming when in a shoot. And if you forget then it really did not help. I would prefer to be able to use custom file names. But only on the high end bodies. :(


I'm in Canada. Isn't that weird!

no since it is only temporary storage at the most. Once you import into Lightroom the files can be sorted into folders and subfolders to your heart's content....and also put into lots of collections and smart collections. Other programs such as PSE and PS5 have file sorting and cataloging features.

MCAsan,I have been trying it out I thought it would be useful for separating by folder during events and such . All was good till you upload then their all back in one folder again ha what is the point of this,I give. Sounded great at first anyways !
