Saw this briefly yesterday, and, especially upon coming back to it, am really diggin' it! Great composition, timing (for the clouds and sunset), and stitching. I don't know why I've never seriously considered doing a pano this way; I'm going to have to give it a go on my trip to California in June... :)

Thanks Byjoder. :) Just be aware that it's difficult to get a good stitch in landscape orientation. This was experimental to see if it would merge well in PS and it did. But, I had a bit of overlap in the rocks and I wound up cloning some of it out.

Yea, I figured there would be a fair amount of work involved - more so than a "normal" pano; good to get the heads up, though. :)
