I had an aftermarket battery ruin my Canon OEM charger, and an OEM battery that I was charging in it. I stick with the OEM. MHO.

well, i THOUGHT an aftermarket battery from sterlingtek would be fine, turns out when i charge it, it'll go to 67% then stop. no flashing lites, just stop. i pull it out, and charge it again, it'll charge, blink 3 times, and basically stop charging there, again at 67% or so.

so yes, go oem, cuz the batteries from sterlingtek suck!

What brand aftermarket.?

Pearstone, from B&H. They refunded me the cost of the Pearstone battery and charger I had bought from them.
