uploading raw pics

where would be the best site to upload raw pics too that can handle the size of the pics and the number of pics stored which would be around 4 thousand pics not all raw but most over a meg. or 2

There are online backup services like Carbonite, and a number of members here use some of them, but I never have. Besides waiting to hear from a user, you can Google "online backup service" and browse the results:

WHY do you want to upload the raw files? Online/Cloud backup? Sharing/Collaborating?

Sign up for a free Windows Live account and get 25 GB of SkyDrive storage for free. You don't have to run Windows to use it -- I access my account from both Windows and Linux. One catch -- individual files are limited to 50 MB each, so probably no good if you want to upload TIFFs.
