Seems like it's a pretty good bargain. 20 photographers, 20 hours, 6 hours on 6 DVD's for $49.00. I got my code through WHCC (promo code is the same "WHCC") and even if I retain a little bit of new information, it seems like it's a pretty small price to pay for it. Anyone else getting it?

Its pretty hard to pay full price for PV. But it is well worth the money. I have been getting it for a few years and plan on getting it till they decide to stop making it.

Yes most of what they talk about SHOULD be common knowledge. But it is reassureing to hear when others say they do things the same way you have been doing them. Or making adjustments from what they say.

I love watching other photographers shooting. I could care less what they are saying... but watching them and seeing thier thought process in action alone is worth the money.

Also seeing the branding/marketing efforts are great from other areas of the industry. Such as I do not do infants or kids... But seeing what some of the infant/kid shooters have been doing for branding and marketing has made me change things up a bit and easily made an impact for the better.

In short, if you dont make the money back from watching PV... you are simply not trying.

At $49.00, it makes a pretty worthwhile magazine subscription. More profitable than most others.

Huge bargin, but some of it is pretty dry. I've had it for a few years, I haven't touched a single one from 2010, sitting on my desk. Will need to watch them before I even get to the new 2011 ones. They are very worth it if your into the hobby though, even if you don't learn much.

They also sell for 50%+ of their value pretty easily.

Got the promo code from WHCC and the older threads about Photovision all said no one paid the full $199.00 retail price. I definitely think I'll learn at least a few valuable things that will either make my shooting/workflow or running the side business easier. Should be well worth the $50. Hell, I spent half of that on a copy of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on DVD that I didn't return to Blockbuster :)
