My wife as seen through the EF-85mm f1.8

Here are a couple of photos I took of my wife from across the dining room table. They were taken using available lighting... with my 10D set at manual, 400 ISO, an aperture of f2, and shutter speed of 1/60. I put them through photoshop to turn up the brightness just a tad...

Good picture, maybe its my monitor, but I think you can still brighten the first one up a little more.

The first picture is fine but the second is a bit to soft. In PS you can light it up a little more. IMHO they are to dark.

It's a great lens but remember that handshake will be obvious if you use such a low shutter-speed, unless of course you use a tripod.

I just picked up the 85 1.8 this week - Gonna test it out this weekend, I'll post results special order for grego! LOL

I like them, I have that lens in my shopping cart at B&H, it is the only thing that I am sure will be there when I hit check out. I don't think I've seen a bad picture with that lens. Thanks for sharing.
